The search for an evening gown is possibly the most painful experience ever (really, worse than swim-wear). Each website, store, anything sells the exact same thing. If you are willing to spend upwards of two grand, you can get yourself a hell of a dress. If you are looking for anything under that price point, you are pretty much guaranteed to look like a Puerto-Rican prom queen. Has evening gown become a synonym for hideous? No, we don't want a lime-green poof-ball with sequins, and the plain black dress is just too boring. How can a girl stand out in a good way? After much searching, Pose still came up empty handed. Resolution? Get a dress made. With access to lovely fabric stores across the globe, you can create your own creation. Pose looked at dresses from Halston, YSL, Dries van Noten, and Marni to create her very own design. Not only will you save some green, you'll be the belle of the ball!

Face it. Occasionally we all mess up (even yours truly). Unfortunately for our Hollywood counterparts one mess up can lead to a huge downward media spiral ending with your name on the black list of fame. One minute you're the loved "good girl", and the next you're plastered all over rag mags with Paris Hilton. At Pose, we love to see people changing and moving on with their lives. The comeback we are all watching right now is Britney Spear's. Now honestly, let's put out there that she is a complete and total mess. She married K. Fed (ew), lost custody of her two kids (thank God), shaved her head, and created one of the saddest albums I have ever listened to (Blackout). A year ago it seemed as if Britney would never stop with the insanity, but with her new tell all on MTV, we can all agree she is ready to have the spotlight again as the pop princess she once was. Her talent still lies beneath her slightly larger exterior.  I still could listen to Toxic a million times and probably never think twice about listening to it again.  Circus is complete pop genius. She is border-line white trash, but SO WHAT. Britney is returning as the pop idol we all loved.

WHY: Uffie's somewhat vulgar yet infectious lyrics will have you listening often. Not only is she a great performer, but also a stylish young girl among the international it girls. We love her crazy partying, her playful style, and her haunting voice (especially on the track The Party with Justice).

AND...: Uffie raps with a young, feminine voice over sick beats produced by Oizo or Feadz. Ultra stylish. Mix of american apparel and street wear.
